Our Rare, Heirloom Breeds

We raise a great selection of heritage breed hogs -- Large Black, old-line Duroc, and Spotted Poland China among others including occasional Ossabaw Island and Berkshire pigs. Our animals are 'meat-type' breeds, who produce marbled pork, not lean meat like most other producers. It takes a lot more time and money to produce marbled meat; The amount of food required drops considerably once they start developing their healthy fat. Believe it or not, fat keeps them healthy! The amount of freedom they enjoy also plays into their diet -- they graze an enormous space, and that burns calories!

We know and raise every single pig that we sell - this is an actual family farm made of of one family and one farm!
