After years of taking your orders on a scrap of paper in the middle of the field, writing with a crayon my kids let roll under the seat of the truck, washing and drying said scrap in pants pocket, feverishly scrolling caller i.d. to retrieve your number, then calling you under the guise of 'confirming your order'... I, today, declare my allegiance to this online order form. With my usual caveat--I have no idea if everything you order is available right this minute, because thankfully there are more of you than of my little animals. But this will etch our transaction in digital history, and though I will still take an order in the old way (scrap of paper, crayon, spin cycle, caller id, etc.) please help me help you and fill this thing out!
Weights approximate -- I'll be in touch before packing or shipping or charging the order. This just gets us on the same page so we can talk about more important stuff, like isn't it great that there are more farmers' markets than ten years ago, or your grandparents' farm, or whether Steve Perry and Journey will ever reunite? There, you read till the end, that wasn't too painful for an order form was it? Don't worry, no 800 numbers or operators in our future, my voice is still at the other end of the line. Just ask your local operator to connect you. Thank you, Emile
